Love should not be legislated. Seventeen states plus Washington DC recognize the right for all of their citizens to be married. I will work to bring a Marriage Equality bill to the Arkansas legislature. The government should not be involved in marriage at all, it should be a contract between consenting adults. Until we can work to get the government fully out of this area of our lives, we need to make it as equal as possible and stop discrimination against a class of people based on sexual orientation.
